Awesome Virtual Assistant – Position Filled

I’m looking for an awesome virtual assistant for approximately 6-10 hours per week. The ideal candidate is a Jill or Jack of many trades, a voice of reason, and a problem solver. S/he is also organized, detail-oriented, reliable, business-savvy, and coachable. The ideal candidate does not need to excel in every single area listed below; however, the ideal candidate should excel in many of the areas listed below and should be a fast learner.
Administrative Support Tasks
- Manage and update client lists and prospect lists
- File documents in accordance with company conventions and clean up Dropbox and Google Drive accounts
- Convert files into different formats and compress files, as needed
- Transcribe podcasts, audio files, and meeting recordings
- Schedule tasks and appointments
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and set deadline alerts
- Manage purchase lists and make online purchases
- Research and book travel (flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.)
Content and Social Media Tasks
- Create document templates
- Format and design decks, proposals, and training materials
- Upload client blog posts, select blog images, and schedule blogs for publication
- Engage with commenters and leads on social media
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports
- Draft email newsletters
- Perform web research and create succinct summaries and recommendations
- Repost and share content across platforms
- Proofread documents, emails, and website copy
Prospecting and Lead Generation Tasks
- Perform LinkedIn outreach using provided templates
- Send connection requests and messages to new LinkedIn contacts
- Compile lists of competitors’ followers
- Download target lists of clients from Facebook groups
- Draft press releases
- Pitch articles using provided information
Audio and Video File Management Tasks
- Perform basic editing of audio and video files
- Create audio snippets that can be shared on social media
- Edit images in Canva
- Insert podcast episodes on website pages
Media and Tools
Experience with some or all of the following media and tools: Canva, Dropbox, Facebook, Google Analytics, Google Suite, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, MailerLite, Pinterest, Slack, Twitter, WordPress (Elementor), YouTube, and Zoom
Time Commitment
6-10 hours per week to start. Hours may increase over time if we determine we’re an excellent fit for each other.

What Happens Next
I will respond to everyone who applies in accordance with the criteria above. I’ll ask the strongest candidates to set up a 30-minute Zoom meeting so we can get to know each other a bit and see if there might be a mutual fit. If one or more candidates look like a great fit, I’ll ask them to complete a one-hour paid project to get a better sense of how they work. I’ll make a decision from there.
