So last week I received a couple emails from a networking acquaintance asking if I’d like to help out with some technology-related work. Sure thing. I’ve done quite a bit of tech writing over the years, and new client work is fabulous. Rock on!

The kid who visits the studio each day calls me “bro.” That is, he calls me “bro” when he’s not calling me “dude.”

“What’s up, bro?” he asks me, so I tell him what’s up. I left my Mac cord at home. Sharron’s out of good studio snacks. I’m looking for new ways to insult a daily emailer who’s in need of a serious smackdown. I knocked one of Sharron’s photos off the wall by leaning on it with my head. “That’s cool, bro,” he tells me. Untitled Studio & Photographic Reportage, 9th and Santa Fe (910 Arts Building), is hosting a Third Friday public event tomorrow from 6-9. Join us, won’t you? On display will be photographs by Sharron Harris (Diedrichs), Jason Belaire, and 9 News’ Kirk Montgomery, as well as paintings by Lisa Kowalski and printed narratives by yours truly.
